Call Of Duty World At War map pack 3 further expands the online multiplayer experience with four brand new maps. Now Treyarch and Activision are not saying the exact release date yet but are confirming the map pack will arrive sometime in august. Here is what they did have to say about the new maps.
Fight for ocean territory in “Battery,” an armored island surrounded by anti-ship mines and shore to ship cannons. Watch out for sniper fire as you defend Russia’s most coveted resource in “Revolution,” and keep a sharp eye out through the dense, overcast city streets in “Breach,” set at Berlin’s historic Brandenburg Gate. Zombies return in all their undead glory with “Der Riese” (Zombie Factory), a Nazi research facility featuring the weapon upgrading Pack-A-Punch Machine. Use the teleporters to escape in an instant and fight to the death in pursuit of the map’s 10 new Achievements/Trophies.

since the release of shi no numa i have not played the cod story or multiplayer. i will %100 by this map pack strictly for the zombie map only.
cod 4 modern warefare 2 better have zombies or a mode in which you empty a full belt of machine gun ammo into , along with the satisfaction of killing nearly defenceless beings otherwise there will be alot of angry gamers!!!
it’s weird… i can already see all these maps in the game, but when i click on them it says i have to download the on the “xbox live market place” ???? weirdness… i have all the others, i don’t know why it shows me them, as if they where available or something
just hope they make it on modern warefare 2 with new perks.. as with air strike and UV online and also a chopper..
don’t forget about 4 player online and offline for co-op..that would be somthing cool..
yeah there needs to be a co-op online mode for both zombie’s and the other game mode’s

Whats up with that? Why upgarde your 360 if you actually get nothing. Whats the point of the upgrade if the maps are still unavailible to buy?
the reason for the update was because some people have hacked they’re consoles and it has caused the online modes to be affected. so the update was to fix this problem

im on my xbox i play cod:waw but no update is coming up and it wont let me download map pack 3 from the download maps part and all my mates are on it any ideas what i should do ??
personally i think it would be a great idea for treyarch and activision to produce a whole new game “ZOMBIES” ….. lol
i know i would buy it for sure….. have about 30 zombie maps, would be emense.

I heard they’re making a map pack 4,and 5. If there is gonna be a map pack 4 it’s gonna be in Nevada. There’s a radio in der riese that talks about how the “Nevada Base” ( Area 51???? I’ll have to check.) has a whole lot of element 115 the stuff that makes the zombies. Anyone know anything? rumors? release date?

Scorch, I back u up with ur idea. Buy I think that the new map pack will only have a zombie map. Also I think that the map pack will not release on Sep. 24, but that’s when Treyarch will confirm it and probly give us some trailer.
Same guy here. I also beleive that the next zombie map will reveal more of the story to us. I think that we will learn that Rictofen will turn out to be that Edward guy on the radios. Also we will learn more about the mystery box and teddy bear
first off there is a multiplayer /split screen co-op mode on modern warfare 2 apparently it was confirmed second of all I read from a lot of sources on the internet and magazines there WILL BE NO! I REPEAT NO zombies on COD MW2
sept.12 and no trailers or nothing so I was probably wrong on the date it comes out. But im pretty sure they’ll make another map pack, COD MW2 is like what? 6 months away still and there’s still alot of money to be made from zombies.
Oh BTW there is no zombies on COD MW2 but there is( From everything I heard) a game mod called (in deep distorted voice followed by creepy alien music) “ALIEN TERRORISTS”
Anyways that sound pretty fun but it’ll probably be more like a rainbow six vegas terrorist hunt except you can’t win.

Sept 25th and i haven’t seen anything….. the easter egg was probably just to get us hyped and talking so that when it actuallly does come out the map will sell like there’s no tomorrow. Jerks

Okay so here’s my new theory. I think it will be a full map pack. It will be released in late october and have a halloween type theory. I also think that the zombie map will have a final cutscene( after finishing lile 30 waves) and that the story will be left open for a new gametype in mw2. But treyarch needs to tell us something. They’ve been keeping us waiting enough.
Yeah, I just wish they’d stop teasing us with fake easter eggs and all that crap.
Well Oct 18th and still no trailer I think they’re leaving this one alone. I pre-ordered MW2 =P
