Sega have announced the next installment in the popular Super Monkey Ball series. Entitled Super Monkey Ball: Step & Roll, the game will be coming exclusively to the Wii and as the title indicates, make use of the Wii Balance Board. The game comes as no surprise as Sega trademarked it a few months back. The previous entry, Banana Blitz, was well received on the Wii and iphone, selling several hundred thousand on each. Balance Board inclusion was the next logical step for the series and it’s pleasing to see Sega going in that direction. Plus, it should be hilarious to play whilst drunk. The only worrying aspect is the press release (below) that lacks to mention whether the game will include standard Monkey Ball levels or will be a wholly mini game party affair. Something the Wii is obviously lacking.
