The actor Darrin Henson, who will play Raven in the upcoming live-action film adaptation of Tekken, has the movie listed for an ‘October 2009′ release on his website.
Darrin, Raven or Raven, Darrin?
The news isn’t too surprising as the movie has previously been dated Fall 2009 by numerous sources, to coincide with the release of Tekken 6 on PS3, Xbox 360 and PSP on October 27th.
The actor also has a picture of himself as Raven on the website, as seen above.
Considering we have seen relatively nothing of the movie, this would be a shock release. And it’s worth pointing out that the Crystal Sky Pictures’ website page on the film looks like it hasn’t been updated since…oh…the turn of the century. Encouraging stuff…

I loved the first Tekken movie, it was quite amazing, so I wouldn’t mind watching this one. Especially if it’s in CGI.
its not in CGI. It’s live action. CGI would be cool, but it won’t be the case for characters that are human. That picture of raven is a human, lol. Google him.

darrin’s alright and all, but we all know that Wesley Snipes was BORN to play the role of raven, they even based Raven off of a few of his charcters eg: Blade

I don’t think that there will be anything especial about this movie, and i think everytime they try to do something cool in this film they’ll go, we take a character from the videogame and insert him randomly and try to make it work. But the game was quite impresive. but This movie going to be another one of those bullshit movies like DRAGONBALL EVOLUTION That movie sucked.

So they go with master Jackie Chan, Cung Lee, Lateef Crowder, Nathan Jones, Roger Huerta and fight flicks veteran Gary Daniels who all know what their doing and then pick Franco??…I really hope someone at imdb had been drinking the day they released that info lol
