David Braben, creator of the Elite series and the upcoming ‘The Outsider, has defended Peter Molyneux’s “smoke and mirrors” project, Milo & Kate.
The developer was speaking to Eurogamer when asked of Molyneux’s project:
“I think there is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of with good, complex smoke and mirrors.”
Braben went onto link this to his own projects, saying:
“With all of these things, we’re building interesting worlds, and there are so many different ways you can do that. Milo & Kate showed some of that, and some of the things we’re working on will show some of that too.”
Braben also discussed the issue of AI and believes that “it’s been getting better by degrees and we haven’t noticed.”
