Square Enix has sent us nine new screenshots of Final Fantasy XIV Online, revealing new monsters and new jobs/sub-jobs we hadn’t heard of before now.
The new jobs seem to be ‘Marauder’, ‘Pugilist’ and ‘Weaver’. The first title suggests a sort of tank sub-job, with the opposite possibly being the Pugilist; which will no doubt be a brawling class. The Weaver could either refer to a magic-based class or an actual weaver of clothes; our money’s on the former.
Returning monsters from the Final Fantasy series include Ahrimans, Cactuars, Mammets, Morbols and Ogres.

Oh yea. 11 was good so I hope 14 will be great. I’m interested in seeing how the new battle system will play out.
Weaver is most likely a craft job like the earlier revealed ‘Gatherer’ and ‘Blacksmith’ jobs. The FFXI craft corresponding to ‘Weaver’ would be the Clothcraft guild.
Although not played FFXi, but graphics of FFXiV are top notch and engine is home made so we can expect excellent performance and this is an MMO with touch FF.
Guys this is defintely GOTY candidate for next year.
better have my Darkknight…or whatever class equates to DRK…
And I was a Dragoon class. I wish that they had new races, keep the old ones but give us a few new ones.
They better keep Bst Pup and Brd…. that is only way I’m switching I did not work hard to take the lol out of my Pup for it not to be in this game
