Peggle is possibly the most addictive game to ever be released and lucky for us iPhone owners, we now have a mobile version to go. Well, maybe I should say that’s a good thing if you have absolutely nothing planned for the next few weeks or so. Seriously, this game should come with a warning label or something. If you haven’t heard of this great game yet then you’re just not into gaming. Do yourself a favor: Stop reading this and go download it for your iPhone right now. You’re missing out.

Peggle has been given proper treatment on the iPhone platform by making everything touch-centric. You touch to aim, touch to fire, touch to zoom and… well, you get the picture. Everything you love about Peggle on other platforms remains in tact and it’s just as fun here as on other platforms, if not more. I prefer this version due to the simplified touch controls and to be honest, having Peggle anywhere I go is a huge plus (or a minus depending on how you look at it). Seriously, though despite it’s ability to get you to ignore all of life’s responsibilities, Peggle is a fun and simple game that proves you don’t need flashy FMV’s and deep character backstory to make a great game. Sometimes, games just need to be fun and Peggle is definitely fun.
