Earlier today Sony announced ‘God of War Collection’ for the Playstation 3. The title will include both PS2 titles, ‘God of War’ and ‘God of War II’
Not only that but the collection will apparently feature smoother graphics that will run at a smooth 60fps. Trophy support has also been added for the games as an extra incentive. Scott Rohde, vice president of Worldwide Studios of America, commented:
“We are excited today to announce God of War Collection, Our fans spoke and we listened; thanks to our partnership with Bluepoint Games, fans and newcomers to the series can experience the epic God of War and God of War II saga in stunning 720p on PS3. This Blu-ray Disc compilation brings Kratos to PS3 even earlier than expected.”
‘God of War Collection’ is slated for a winter release later this year and will set you back $40. If you missed out on the games the first time round, it sounds like a fair bargain.
