Continuing with the feature of looking back at this year’s great long list of browser games to sit down and play for awhile, and loose yourself in the moment, here are two more games you may want to take a look at.
YOUDA FARMER
Work on the land, tilling the soil, milking the cows, and gathering eggs from the chicken coops. Youdagames has a great online game up called Youda Farmer and gathers all aspects of how working out in the country would be. Stunning graphics and sounds, you can try the game online or buy it. The game is simple and extremely fun. Your character works at a farm and transfers livestock and goods to the happy little village to the south of it. You make things such as eggs, flour, and milk, and take it to the townsfolk that request it. More cash you get for items, the more shops and upgrades that can be purchased. Keep putting more into your farm, by acquiring a chicken coop, a pig stable, and a dairy farm. Gaining more farming equipment will also bulk up businesses in the village. Like the bakery being able to offer cakes and the grocery serving a breakfast meal. And along the way, upon collecting enough “party products,” you will get the chance to play the Party Bonus level. Collect them fast as they disappear quickly. Happy farming!
FILLER 2
Filler 2 is a game from SimianLogic Studios and can be played at Shockwave. The soothing simplicity of forming circles will show to be addictive to the player. Object of the game is to fill the game screen with your bubbles (what I call them) two-thirds of the way. Movement couldn’t be easily, as all the controls are used by the mouse and the left button. Press and hold the button down and release once the bubble is to your liking in size. Now, if a bubble is already created and comes in contact with the one being created, it will stop the size. The enemies in this little game are red marble type balls bouncing all over the place just waiting to make contact with your bubble. If they make contact with it, it will pop the bubble and take a life in the process.
The difficulty of the level goes from easy, normal, and hard. Pressing the spacebar will temporary “freeze” the red bouncy balls, however not for very long. Unfortunately, on hard, the freeze option is null. At the main menu, players can choose in the option area what color their ball is going to be and the background image.
This game is great for the casual gamer who wants to do something for a couple of minutes for tension relief. Just don’t let the red balls bring you down!
