What’s this? Yet another title joining the ever-growing list of games that think they have what it takes to actually get gamers to pitch out a few extra bucks on it? It appears so. The latest member joining the “special enough for a special edition club” appears to be Bayonetta.

Though the game has already been released in the land of the rising sun, Sega Europe has just announce that Sarah Palin’s daemon slaying twin sister will getting its very own limited edition version for the West.

Bayonetta’s special edition will include a soundtrack disc and as well as a hardcover art book, all nicely wrapped up in a pretty little slipcase that’s sure to win the hearts of all Bayonetta fans out there. While the special edition has only been announced for the UK, Spain, France and Australia, we think it’s safe to assume that Sega of America will be making a similar announcement regarding a US special edition pretty soon.

Boyonetta’s special edition, along with the regular one, will hit store shelves on January 5.
