Are you finding that protecting Redcliff is to hard because the stupid villagers keep impaling themselves on their own swords? Well, not to worry – your good old grabby Uncle Eric has found the cheats for you. The only catch for the cheats is that you have to do a little work, but it just might be worth it in the end. Unless you enjoy watching the villagers impale themselves over and over again…
Non Steam Game (Retail)
The first thing that you must do is make a desktop shortcut of the Dragon Age .exe file
After this has been completed, go to its properties and under target, add -enabledeveloperconsole
Then go to “My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Settings\” and find keybindings.ini and change the X in the line “OpenConsole_0=Keyboard::Button_X” to a button you are not using then save the file (preferably “~”).
Now you can press that button in the game and bring up the command prompt in the game and enter the codes below.
Steam
For people who bough the game off of steam it’s a little easier for you. Go to the “My Games” tab on steam, right click Dragon Age and go to properties.
Click “Set Launch Options” and insert “-enabledeveloperconsole”
Now you can launch the game and while in game press “~” to bring up the command prompt to type in the codes.
