Travis Touchdown is uprooting his Wii exclusive roots and will be heading to rival consoles the XBox 360 and PS3 according to the latest issue of Famitsu.
Whilst very little is known at this time, the game does appear to be a port of the rather excellent original No More Heroes. Presumably the game will have a graphical upgrade and extra content will be included as is custom with ports. Depending on the release date, it could feasibly make use of either console’s upcoming Motion Controllers.
The port seemingly goes against developer Suda 51′s previous statements where he reiterated that the No More Heroes franchise was to stay on the Wii, at least for this generation. It’s also a blow to Wii only users who regularly tout No More Heroes as one of the the better 3rd party offerings available for the console.
