I have played both Far Cry games on the 360. Far Cry 2 didnt leave my disc tray for 1 year starting the day it was released. When it finally did leave my disc tray it didnt go back in though. This was due to the horrible controls. Everything about the game was awesome except for all the driving and the enemies respawning as soon as the area they were in was out of site. The controls were what killed it for me though. The controls should have been smooth and felt natural like aiming a gun, but they werent. It was like the character you were playing had severe motor control issues.From the first time i played it until the last time i played it, I felt like i was fighting with the sticks to simply aim at my target. Far Cry 3 could be great if Ubisoft fixes the rate the enemies respawn and actually put some time and effort into making the aiming smoother and more user friendly. To sum it all up on topic, both Far Cry 1 and 2 were great games but both suffered from crappy controls on the 360. Both had aspects that i liked that the other was lacking.So i would have to say its a tie.

The first far cry was by far my favourate, the landscape was amazing, if only it had been carried on in far cry 2

blah wimper wah. shut up and go buy it, you will anyway. games thes days are all grafix and lame game shite anyway. complain to your momies if you hate it. gta, fallout, warcraft, 2d games rocked in ther day, were did all that give a damn go to? 3d games just went the wrong direction at times. i expect crap to hit the shelves each game release, and i still play all the classics with a cheese grin,

MORE WEAPONS BIGGER BOOMS MY A NEW COUNTRY TO BE IN LIKE KOREA. AND RUSSIA. GERMANY .MYBE I’M JUMPING THE GUN ON THIS.I DON’T KNOW I HAVEN’T BEATEN THE GAME YET. I AM A FAR CRY FAN ALWAYS AND FOREVER. IT’S A REALLY FUN BECAUSE IT’S LIKE REALY LIFE WORK AND THAT’S WHAT MAKE IT A MEMORABLE GAME.

TO THE DEVELOPER’S PUT YOUR SELVES IN OUR SHOES. . .AND I KNOW FARCRY 3 WILL BE MORE REALISTIC IN GRAPHIC TONES. FIND MORE DIAMONDS OF MORE AND LESS VALUE. MAKE HIM MOVE A BIT FASTER IN MOVEMENT. AND LAST BUT NEVER THE LESS. MORE BLOODYER.

I hope that far cry 3 is a run threw adventure like farcry 1 with the sci fy. it is not boring and got better and better instead of a here they are go kill them. Far cry was never intended to be a rpg so why make it one realy. there is more fun in a game that you play through gaining new abilities than runing around having to kill people hours away when even driving. the multiplayer should also have laying down option, picking up enemey or weapons on the map. and last not having to cofirm climbing a ladder picking up ammo or stealing a diamon.

Far Cry 2 CHEATS! To many glitches to many things that would not happen in real life. Shooting through rocks, enemies appearing right in front of you?!! What the Heck!
Revamp the game and I will see about buying it.
But if it is like 2, I am out!

Can,t wait,i loved FAR CRY 2,i admit i got a bit fed up with all the driving around to start with,but the second half of the game really takes off and grabs your attention.

Not to mention the graphics the vehicles and environments in the game still rival the best on consoles.Look at the cars on codmw2 they look like they pasted there very cheesy everything in this game is colorful and burn able trees fall its just a much more advanced game.The only other game that wowed me was kz2 but this game is almost like drakes as a fps with the color and textures on the trees ground buildings vehicles all perfect.I dont even notice any anti aliasing issues with this game.

I think the people that talk shit about this game either were brain washed with the whole call of poopy hype or they just sucked at it.Its a different game than other fps games the feel is different and the sniping is perfect.

Thats what im saying the game is like crack.I couldnt put it down after i started playing its the best online experience for consoles imo just becuase the map editor lets you be so creative.My friends all play and we host our maps and have huge games all night.Call of duty is whats seems linear go here go there you just cant do what you want and guess what you want new maps you gotta pay for em.

I cant wait multiplayer is really good after ubisoft sorted there server outbut still has the odd glitch. If they get there server to cope with the demand of multiplayer then this should be another great game. Ive played call of duty Modern Warfare once since I bought it. Farcry 2 has been stuck in my ps3 since the day and hour I bought it thats how addictive the game is my wife has even threatened to leave me if I keep playing to all hours of the night, my answer to her was…. put the key in the letterbox after you lock the door. FARCRY 3 HURRY UP…….
