At last nights Video Game Awards 2009 many new IP’s were revealed along with a half dozen sequels to some of our favorite franchises such as Medal of Honor, Crackdown 2, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II and more. It was an explosive show this year comparing to the previous years. Shocking announcements, great guest stars and stellar music performances to even include the latest in the Halo franchise. For fuck’s sake, MORE Halo?! The series is over rated, and the only good game is the first one. You want a good shooter: go for Doom.

@TimeDisorder Complaining about Halo games is over-rated, and everyone seems to be doing it. Go play Doom, have a blast, and let people play whatever games they want.
Getting mad that people don’t enjoy the same games as you only proves your own ignorance. DOOM was a great game, many played it, many beat it, it’s old news. You should know by now that DOOM does not sell like HALO does, so clearly a game that sells will get funding and sequels and spinoffs etc.. over anything else.
Speak with your money, if you don’t like Halo, then don’t buy it.

@123 They said H3 was to be the last Halo but then we got ODST and now Reach. I’m not complaining, just pointing out the obvious.

@123 and crazya64 – Reach is the last Halo game being made by Bungie, not the last in the series. They said Microsoft still have rights to it and they do plan to do much more with it.
The games coming out look good. I’m just a bit surprised that arkham asylum was announced so early. Oh well, great game and can’t wait to play the second.

Force Unleashed 1 looked epic too, and it sucked. Hopefully 2 will be better.
I thought Force Unleashed was pretty good, actually. Very cool story.
