This weeks video game sales are of the hook.  For the 15 people in America that didn’t buy Modern Warfare 2 the week it came out, Best Buy has the PS3 version of Modern Warfare 2,  Assassin’s Creed II, Mario Sports Wii and other popular titles for $39.99, which saves an over all $20 over the regular price of $59.99.  There are also random deals across the net such as $29.99 for Avatar from Amazon, Wii Excitebots Racing from GameSpot, Wii Sports Active from Dick’s Sports for 19.99.  Depending on your location some of these may not apply.

As always the download service Steam is continuing their hot New Years deals each week with such titles as 30 PopCap casual games for just $49.99, Dead Space for $10.19, Hearts of Iron III for just $7.49 and Zombie Driver and Day of Defeat: Source for $2.49 each.
