This is one of those obvious duh announcements. If you played the game you would have seen this a mile away. The sequel was teased at by producer Mori Toshimichi and has been officially announced by developer Arc System Works.
BlazeBlue Continuum Shift II will be hitting the arcades around winter this year. We will have to wait until Amusement Machine Show later next moth to even get a glimpse of the new installment of this surprisingly will done 2D fighter. Any information on its release date in the US for consoles is more than likely not going to be released any time soon. Even so, the developer hasn’t taken too much time for brakes in between their little bundles of joy. The first BlazeBlue was released in 2009 and just a little over a year later BlazeBlue: Continuum Shift was released. So we wont have to wait too long to see whats happened in the story.
Just as a side note, this game is surprisingly will done and for any of you gamers that love the fighting genre and are looking for a new one to master BlazeBlue might be what you’ve been waiting for. The story is well written and actually interesting. Obviously there are a few hiccups but nothing that the developers didn’t make unbearable. So if you have $40 bucks laying around and wouldn’t mind trying a game out, then stop by and get it. You will most likely not be disappointed.
